Game of Kings: The Blood Throne

Another successfully completed offer on Swagbucks. This one was through Revenue Universe on a double-point special and rewarded 1,952 SB. A 30-day time limit, requiring you to reach level 21 Stronghold. I spent $1.56 on a Vanilla GC and $8.44 on Google Play Credit.

Offer Page

There is a guide on Reddit for this game but I found some of the information to be outdated including the promo code “FROMZEROTOHERO” which is no longer applicable. Additionally, there have been significant increases in resource requirements to reach level 21.

I had a rough time with this one. There are scant few websites with information or guides to this game. Mostly Google searches would say “Did you mean Game of Thrones?”. There is a Fandom wikia page for the game but it looks half built and the icons are all swapped around.

Game of Kings (GOK) is an upright/vertical castle simulation smartphone game available on both iOS and Android. Similar to other games of this type you have both a Citywide and world map (kingdom) viewpoint.

The tutorial is short and ends at Stronghold level 5. After that your beginner peace shield drops and you can be attacked by other players. The shields are especially important in GOK. Not only can your excess resources be stolen but your Hero can be captured, potentially setting you back a great deal of time.

GOK is a more combat oriented castle sim compared to others like Mafia Wars, Avalon, Rise of Kingdoms or Pirates of the Caribbean. In GOK there are no Forts or Tower’s to provide territory to your Alliance. The only protection available is from the shields which are available in 8hr, 24hr, 3day and 30day versions.

At stronghold level 15 you can build a Prison and capture enemy heroes. Once you build the Altar you can execute heroes to get a big boost. You will commonly see high level players teleporting around and attacking people without shields. During the weekly “Killing” event they become especially active.

In GOK you only have one hero who represents your player level to some degree. You get 5 Citywide Stat points and 1 Hero skill point at each level up. The citywide skills affect things like resource collecting speeds or research timers. Hero skill points give boosts to your hero and allow you to Hunt higher-level Monsters.

Your hero is primarily used to hunt monsters in GOK. It is possible to use the hero to lead resource-gathering marches but this is strongly advised against. If your match is attacked you can lose your hero.

If your hero is captured they will be stuck in prison for 4 days unless they are executed or you pay $20/$100 to “poison” them. If killed you can either spend 6k Gold to resurrect the hero or get a new level 1 hero and start over.

Beyond a hero’s skill points, you can craft gear to gain various bonuses. Some gear is better suited to Army combat while other gear focuses on buffing the hero’s fighting ability when attacking monsters. Other gear gives bonuses to Construction speed, resource production efficiency, and research timers.

Each time you upgrade your Stronghold you will receive a chest with beneficial items inside. Hero gear is included with these chests if you decide not to craft gear. I do want to mention that I did not see any additional discount on building timers when equipping Construction time reduction gear. Some items listed -20mins and -90mins timer reductions but I checked the timers with the gear on/off and there was no difference. The only reductions on timers I can confirm are the % %-based time discounts and the VIP level discounts.

It took me 14 days to complete the offer but in that time I never received enough VIP point items to gain a VIP level. I purchased the $4.99 starter pack which brought my hero to level 31, VIP-7, and gave me lots of crafting chests, speedups and resources. Later on, a similar pack showed up for the same price.

Alliances in GOK can be up to 100 members. Joining a large mostly active alliance is very beneficial. The assistance on timers from guild mates is useful. There are daily and weekly events for Alliances that give many boosts that will help along the way. The main benefit is the Alliance Gifts. Killing monsters will earn a chest for all Alliance members which contains a random item. Sometimes this can be resources, speedups, or even Gold.

Since I was only interested in completing the offer I crafted gear to reduce construction time and boost resource production. Having a big Farm production will allow you to maintain a big army to harvest resources. I had 120k tier 1 swordsmen who were able to harvest 1 million resources each hour.

Avoid building other troops as they are less efficient at harvesting and cost more. On your skills make sure to get Construction 1+2, Gathering 1+2, and Research 1+2. Later once you have finished the cheap research you can use a skill reset item and put points into Stone and Wood production and not bother with the research.

The timers in GOK are especially long and fairly early in the game. On the first day, I saw some research that required 5 days to complete. You will need to collect many speedup items to get this done in time.

On the world map, you will see farms, quarries, smelters, and lumber mills. There are also Spoils locations where you can harvest Gems, crafting Materials, and Gold. At the edges of the map, all the sites are level 1. They increase in level up to 6 near the center of the map.

The weekly Loki event requires that you teleport your city next to one of the lava zones near the center. You can attack the monster Loki to get Mental Shards which can be exchanged at the Black Market in town for items. The Loki event first tier may be achievable if you get in a good spot and have patience. I got up to 70/180 attacks before I gave up. I had enough time left to finish it but I was super bored.

You want to be right next to Loki but on the grass. If your march touches the forest you get slowed down. From my first location, it took 4 minutes to attack, after moving I got it down to 1:23mins. Even if you are far to the side, as long as you are on the grass, it will be faster to travel.

You can time the building event and the Endless event together to maximize your rewards. There is also a Stronghold upgrade event that you can finish regularly. The stronghold event will give you speedups until level 15, then you get resources only.

The game does not have a search function for monsters or resource sites so you will need to scroll around the map to find stuff. You can use coordinates to bookmark things and share locations in the chat window.

The game features a Coffer where you can deposit 100 Gold and get interest on it after 2 hours. Upgrading the Coffer requires you to make purchases in the store.

The building resource requirements and the building timers have been extended. This makes completing the offer quite difficult. In the Reddit guide the final upgrade is listed as 150 days, this has gone up to 177 days plus more resources are needed.

I do not think I would have been able to finish the game without buying another $4.99 pack. I could not harvest enough resources to meet the requirements to upgrade the Stronghold. I did get some resources from my Alliance members but even with that, I faced a great deal of difficulty.

After I completed the offer, I sent out marches to all my alliance members returning excess resources from the pack I bought. I got 1,952 Swagbucks for completing this offer from Revenue Universe. I have a lifetime earnings of 416,467 SB.

You check out my site page for more games and offer guides to Swagbucks.

Swagbucks: Kingdoms of HeckFire

Kingdoms of Heckfire is being offered on Swagbucks for a 4,000 SB reward. The offer was in my Inbox but I also see it in the Search option. Offer terms are to reach Castle level 15, with no time limit listed on the offer.

The game includes 3 Resource types: Gold, Food, and Ore. Gems are a Premium currency for Shop transactions and speeding through timers.

There are ample resources available up through Castle Level 10 from the starting missions and Daily events.

The game also gives you lots of Gems, so you won’t necessarily need to go out and Gather resources from the nodes on the map.

The main issue I found with completing this offer is that they don’t give you a free Extra builder like in other games of the genre. You could buy one in the shop for $10, but that seems expensive to me.

You can research “Free Speedup” timer increases and “Help” timer benefits from Clan mates to speed up the constructions. I think I was getting 2.1 minutes off per help received and my Embassy allowed 14 hits, so I was getting close to a half-hour off.

Most of the low-level buildings and research only needed 20 minutes so that was fine.

The game utilizes 3 Biomes (Grasslands, Badlands, and Swamp) that include a specific monster and generic resource Nodes. You will have multiple Dragons that each specialize in a different form of combat and specific Biomes.

In order to Gather resources from Nodes higher than level 1 you will need to do Research. The same applies to attacking Goblins, Skeletons, Treants, and Titans.

The game includes an Ally Hiring system that can be used to buff your combat abilities in certain Biomes. You can earn Gold by hiring an ally and then reselling them at a small profit.

This is all done automatically, so it is hands-free for the most part, you just need to do the initial hiring. A downside to this though is that when an ally is hired away you lose the bonus you were getting.

Ideally, you hire an active player who powers up to the point where no one can afford to buy them off of you. You will then get the full stat boost without fear of loss.

You can always Drop an ally to get back a fraction of your payment price if you really need the Gold.

The Castle construction time started to get fairly long at level 13. The time to upgrade extended to over 1 day, the prerequisite buildings also took 9+ hours and I had to do them 1 at a time without a 2nd builder slot.

The Starter Shield on the town lasts for a week and stays up even after upgrading past level 10, unlike other games like this.

I played the game during a Halloween event and so got many freebies and themed gifts. Perhaps they will have an event going on when you play.

I didn’t see anywhere to enter Codes in the settings and there didn’t seem to be any giveaways on their Facebook (Meta) page.

There were some frequent bugs and I did get consolation mail in the game with free Gems more than once.

I have written new user guides for Swagbucks and MyPoints; either one is a great option. These sites are a great source of extra income for spontaneous purchases. Alternatively there is FreeCash and InboxDollars, both also good services.

FreeCash: The Grand Mafia

Offer: Multiple Objectives to collect 10 Enforcers and upgrade them to higher Color tiers.

You need 5 Greens, 10 Blues, and 2 Golds.

The Upgrades go Gray>Green>Blue>Purple>Gold.

The Grand Mafia

The offer on FreeCash rewards 142,494 Coins. 3 objectives require purchases which I will skip in this guide. The total reward without the spending comes to 117,142 Coins or USD 117.

There is no posted time limit, however, generally, you can expect 30 days allowance for most offer walls unless otherwise noted…

The terms for this offer are quite good and will not require you to grind very much or collect obscene amounts of resources.

The Lootably offer wall can be commonly found on the FreeCash platform. Other permutations of the Grand Mafia offer are available on RevU, AdGem, and Offertoro.

Check the Grand Mafia Wiki for building upgrade requirements.

You will start with a single Enforcer (Hero/General) Mike Reynolds.

During the tutorial you will receive Belladonna and the Questline will reward you with some additional Enforcers (Doxxy, Vinny).

The Daily Login will get you Sparrow and the Campaign (Monument) will get you BigShot and Tony.

That makes 7 Enforcers with 2 (optional) ones available through your First Purchase which gets you Killer Queen and Onryo.

Free Enforcers

You’ll need 10 Enforcers total to complete the offer. Additional Enforcers can be acquired through the Campaign, Events, and Chapter Objectives.

The rest is simple. You can get the fragments to upgrade your Enforcers by completing “Sweeps” of the Campaign on Elite mode which is unlocked after clearing the first page.

You get a certain amount of Stamina each day and you can only Sweep a set number of times on each stage every day.

There are 5 blocks to each Tier (Plain 1-5), It will take 4 fragments for each block upgrade.

So 20 fragments total to move from Gray to Green.

On the Green tier, the cost goes up to 10 fragments per block, so then you will need 50 fragments.

Swagbucks: Arknights

This game is a big download at 1.56GB and 1.74GB in updates at first boot. The offer is small at only 500 SB, and you have to complete over 32 missions in the campaign. You are given 7 days to complete chapters 2-10 and it should be pending for 7 days.

A small hiccup

The install said it was finished but the game crashed at the load screen and then said it wasn’t installed. I went back to the Play Store and sure enough, it said “Install” even though I could clearly see the game in my installed apps list.

Terms from Swagbucks:

  1. Does not require a purchase.
  2. Must complete chapters 2-10 within 7 days to earn the award.
  3. The award should be Pending for 7 days after completing Chapter 2.10

An all-new strategy game – Arknights, is available now! Start your new journey with new allies! Complete chapter 2-10 to earn 500 SB.*

Game Launcher Panel

There is a large Arknights community on Reddit where you can find lots of helpful information, and some unhelpful information as well.

Background Music

I think the first thing I did was mute the game. The music is cool but repetitive I was looking for the mute option pretty fast.

The whole game is just a top-down view with tiles where you try to block mobs from entering your goal area. Best not to overthink these types of games.

Heavyweight Design

It’s absurd that it takes 3.4GB to handle such a basic functioning game. Really most of that data is all the artwork and endless mind-numbing dialog that is included.

Gameplay

Once you finish some of the tutorials the Auto-Deploy function becomes available to repeat a mission on autopilot to grind out rewards.

You still have to watch the battle play out but you won’t need to interact with it. The game includes Daily, Weekly, and Event objectives to complete to get Experience items and money.

Once the tutorial is complete you get access to the Base building, which is a sort of mini-economic zone with factories, workshops, and break rooms. The resources for upgrading stuff are all either made here or gained from missions.

You should be able to just grind through the campaign so long as you don’t get distracted by the other missions that show up.

To upgrade your Operators (heroes) there are materials you get from doing side missions for Chips, Ore, and Sugar. But you don’t need to do these to complete the Main Campaign objectives.

Just use your Experience items to max out the level of 8 Operators. You can choose 12 to include in a squad but only 6-8 will actually get used in a battle. You’ll run out of money fast doing this so be warned.

Lineup Suggestions

I’d suggest including a Debuffing (Slow) operator like Orchid on the team and matching her with a good caster like Amiya.

  • Gravel is an easy starter and can be improved using duplicate copies to lower her deployment costs.
  • Cardigan is a good tank that can block 3 units and she heals herself.
  • Beanstalk has a summon that halts mobs while she shoots them, she also adds DP points over time.
  • Zima can block 2 enemies and she fills your DP bar.
  • Gummy is another good tank and she heals herself or a wounded ally in range.
Final Thoughts

This offer takes a really long time to finish. The Chapter progression is not set, it’s not 12 missions per section. The first part (Tutorial) is 18 missions, then 15 parts for chapter 1.

There could be up to 4 side missions before 2-04 moves to 2-05. So reaching Chapters 2-10 takes a whole lot more activity than you might expect, especially for only 500 SB.

Swagbucks: Conflict of Nations WWIII

I found this one in my mailbox at the Swagbucks website. The offer is simple you only need to make a purchase to get the reward. After finishing the short tutorial I went straight to the shop and checked out the packages offered. The cheapest one is priced at $1.99. I used $1.50 in Google Play credit and the rest on my PayPal Business Debit, which I use for most Swagbucks offers/redemptions. This offer is a $3 money maker.

Install the Android app or play on your desktop and complete your first in-app purchase to earn 500 SB.

The game sends you a handy in-game mail that lists the transaction number. This should be helpful if you have any trouble getting credit from Swagbucks for completing the offer terms. The game itself wasn’t very visually appealing for me. I have played other war games and I much prefer real-time strategy types over this tabletop experience. The narration was good; except, you never hear the names of any of the places mentioned in the text. I don’t know why they omitted them when the voice acting is in clear American English.

Swagbucks: Crossfire Warzone

Update 2024: I am sad to report that the developer has pulled the game from the Play Store and shut down the game. No idea if it will come back.

Crossfire Warzone Character Gallery

This took 3 days to complete. Requirements were to reach the level 18 command post in 25 days.

I got to level 15 on the first day by spamming my speedup items.

You get 1000 gold for joining your first alliance, which is nice. In this game, you can buy your way up through the VIP ranks using in-game gold.

The Honor/VIP ranks give various discounts and bonuses. I would suggest going up to rank 7 at the most.

I found it was not necessary to make a farm City for this game. Killing monsters or terrorists provided more than enough resources to complete upgrades.

There are 4 things you can attack, and 3 of them use different types of stamina.

You have resource buildings in town, and animals in the woods can be killed for food. You can harvest resources from buildings on the world map.

Attacking Terrorists or Scavengers will give resources. Fighting the M.O.W.s gets you crafting supplies for commander gear.

Your units are infantry, tanks, and helicopters. The tanks and helicopters don’t cost food to build.

I found that the resource-carrying capacity was reliant on the Hero assigned rather than the number of troops deployed.

Sending just 1 unit and 4 Heroes did better than 1 hero with max troops.

Swagbucks: Pirate Kings

Well, this was a failure.

The listed time limit was 7 days and I gave up on the 5th day as I had become quite stuck on Island 7.

The offer terms require you to reach Island 11.

I found that the free spin codes I found online were only valid for a few days. Many sites were offering old codes that were invalid, but claiming them to be new.

Also getting my friend list filled up took forever.

I was reticent to link my Facebook account to the game which limited my ability to add friends.

If I had maybe 14 days or if I had gotten a full friend list on the first day I may have been able to make it.

This was going to earn me 766 SB from OfferToro on a 2x special.

Swagbucks – myVEGAS Bingo

Swagbucks Offer Terms: Have a Bingo party with your friends as you daub your way through the Las Vegas strip! Play free bingo and other casino games in real casinos like the MGM Grand and Bellagio! Unlock the Mirage Casino and reach Level 20 within 10 days to receive 2,000 SB*, and don’t forget to have fun while doing it.

  • 1. You Must install the app and reach the level to earn a reward.
  • 2. The award will pend for 14 days.
  • 3. Must be a new user of the app.

The key point with this offer is that it completes when you unlock the Mirage Casino at level 15. The offer may either be coded improperly or the offer terms are incorrect.

The offer is pretty straightforward though the time limit is short. A Reddit user had posted that it took 2.5 hours to complete the offer so I jumped in. I’m sitting at 9 hours played and still only at level 12. I get maybe 175-200 experience points per game while playing the 4-card bingo at the Excalibur location. That is 15% of the level-up bar on experience points. It will probably take a few days to complete the offer so long as the numbers don’t change.

Reddit user MrCrxzy said: Easiest 20$ of my life! Took me about 2 and a half hours. Highly recommend! Also credited at level 15 instead of 20.

As you play, you will get Silver Tickets which can be used to play the Rapid Diamonds slot game. This will earn you Diamonds which can be used to buy Power Up cards. You won’t be able to win any games without power cards, so don’t bother trying to play without them. You also get diamonds for completing the Daily, Weekly, and Event Tasks. At level 10 you will be prompted to join a Club (Alliance/Guild) which will get you a few more diamonds each day by playing more bingo.

I had the best return on tickets using the Double option on the Rapid Diamond Slots. You get rewards for completing Collections from Present tiles on the bingo board as you play rounds. Once you reach the 3rd star it unlocks the High Roller table for the Location you are playing at. I really don’t suggest doing the High Roller as it will wipe out your chips right away. Stay on the normal bingo and just play the 4-card game and use the 100 Diamonds option for power-up cards.
