Beginner’s Guide: Day 1 Goals
Hey Travelers! In this post, we’ll go over your main goals for Day 1 in Dragon Traveler. This quick guide will help new players get a clear sense of direction right from the start. Your progress during the first few days sets the foundation for everything that follows. Having solid goals from the start will make your adventure much smoother and more rewarding. Let’s kick things off strong and make the most of your journey ahead!
▌ 1. Luminary Development ✨
Your Day 1 Luminary development is absolutely crucial, it directly affects two key aspects of your early-game experience.
First, your Main Story progression and solo content (such as Tower stages) depend heavily on how well you build your team. The faster you clear these stages, the sooner you’ll unlock new features, earn more idle resources, and collect better rewards. And the key to faster progress? A properly leveled, well-built Luminary lineup.
Second, your first-day performance in the Arena. A stronger formation will help you climb the ranks early, and your Day 1 placement often sets the tone for your standing throughout the version. Climbing back up later usually takes much more effort than getting ahead during launch week. Since Arena rank determines both daily rewards and milestone rewards, it’s one of the most important ways to earn early resources, powerful Luminaries, and valuable upgrade materials. So make sure to give it your all!
Your Luminary development progress on Day 1 should aim for the following goals:
⭐Goal 1: Build a main formation centered around your Dragon-form protagonist.
Among all options, the Red Whelp-based Elemental lineup is the easiest to complete early on. If you prefer a different combat style, you can also try building around the Green Whelp, Butterfly Whelp, or Light Whelp. However, these lineups generally come with higher team-building costs, so it’s best to attempt them only if you happen to pull the corresponding core Luminaries during your first-day summons.
When determining whether you’ve achieved a solid core lineup, use the following benchmarks:
▶ Your formation is complete, with most Luminaries benefiting from your Dragon’s faction bonus at the start of battle.
▶ Your team makes effective use of its unique core mechanics.
For example, with a Red Dragon Elemental lineup, having at least three Elemental Faction Luminaries allows you to fully leverage Elemental Reaction mechanics, which greatly enhance overall combat efficiency.
⭐Goal 2: Build a Balanced Formation.
During the early stages, your formation should be versatile to adapt to most types of gameplay. Keep the following points in mind:
▶ Ensure a well-rounded class composition. It’s best to include at least one Guardian and one Priest, this helps prevent assassins from taking down your backline, maintains front-line durability, and provides healing to sustain the team in longer battles.
▶ Try to develop at least one Luminary from each class. This helps you progress smoothly once Resonance unlocks at Lv.100, so you won’t get stuck midway through development. Later on, when you obtain stronger Luminaries of the same class, you can easily replace them by syncing their levels through Resonance.
⭐Goal 3: Maintain Steady Level and Star Progression.
▶ Your main Formation’s Luminaries should reach Lv.80 or higher. Most of your power comes from level. Hit this mark across the team first for a stable start.
▶ Target at least 5-Star. Most SSR Luminaries reach 5-Star when acquired. If you want to run a favorite that’s below SSR, raise it to 5-Star or higher first, otherwise its stat line won’t keep up. For SSR Luminaries and above, once the class balance noted earlier is in place, prioritize higher-star options. A 5-Star Legendary needs one duplicate to reach 6-Star. From 6-Star, you can consume fodder Luminaries to advance to Purple 1-Star. Reaching 6-Star typically unlocks a noticeable Core Talent boost, and Purple 1-Star delivers a clear stat bump. Aim to hit these tiers early, they provide a clean, high-impact power spike.
▶ Use Artifacts wisely to boost your power. The Artifact system unlocks after Main Story Chapter 5. Acquiring and upgrading Artifacts brings clear gains to both utility and stats, so once it unlocks, be sure to pull for Artifacts right away and equip them thoughtfully across your formation.

As shown: Faction + Class Composition + Level & Star Progression = A balanced, powerful Luminary Formation.
▌ 2. Gameplay Progress✨
As noted above, once your Luminary Formation is in good shape, push progression as far as you can on Day 1. Unlock more modes and growth systems can set you up with an early resource lead and a smoother day-to-day experience.
Below is a simple Day 1 Main Story plan across modes:
⭐ Goal 1: Reach Main Story 5-16.
Clearing 5-16 unlocks Rift of the Divine Realm (Expedition), which drops upgrade materials for the Artifact system. Additionally, on Day 1 you can push the Main Story as far as 6-32, doing so completes a special achievement quest and awards a limited title.
⭐ Goal 2: Reach Floor 50+ in Wyrmbone Ruins.
Wyrmbone Ruins (Tower Climb) is the core source of Wyrm Essence (Purple Soul), a key development resource. Your Day-1 clear sets the baseline for your AFK daily Purple Soul income going forward. Given the tower’s difficulty curve, climbing to Floor 50 on Day 1 is recommended. It secures a solid daily yield, and you can keep pushing the tower in the days ahead. If your combat power allows, keep climbing to the highest floor you can clear.
⭐ Goal 3: Clear Floor 1 in Rift of the Divine Realm.
Rift of the Divine Realm has two floors and resets every two days. Try your best to clear Floor 1 on Day 1, then tackle Floor 2 the next day. Even though Floor 1 is on the easier side, it’s still wise to manually cast Overdrives and adjust your Luminaries’ positioning to prevent slip-ups.
⭐ Goal 4: Aim for Top 400 in Arena.
After the Arena tutorial, players are automatically placed around rank 3,000. Because the player base isn’t saturated on Day 1 and most players aren’t focused on pushing progress, many top spots may be held by NPC accounts. These NPC lineups are lightly invested and easy for real players to beat. You typically won’t see human opponents cluster until around rank 500. For that reason, try to push into the Top 400 if possible. This secures nice daily rewards (including 140 Diamonds) and gives you a better starting position for the tougher competition that follows as the server fills up. If your Luminary Formation is stronger, keep climbing as high as you can. Diamonds are granted immediately when you reach a new personal-best rank, so if you’re out of entries but can still climb, buying extra attempts is worth it.

Both the daily rewards for placing in Top 400 and the generous one-time Arena Coin bundle when you first reach a high rank are worth pushing for as a new player.
▌ 3. Related Quests✨
⭐Goal 1: Complete all Daily Quests.
On Day 1 you’ll be busy unlocking modes and pushing progression, so clearing the Daily list should happen naturally, no need to micromanage it. That said, a few tasks are easy to miss, if your Daily progress is short, just scan the list and fill in whatever you skipped.

⭐Goal 2: Push Lifetime Achievements to Lv.3 and unlock key features like One-Tap Star Upgrade and Auto-Battle.
Lifetime Achievements are one-time milestones with lots of categories. Same as daily quests on Day 1, you’ll clear most of them simply by unlocking modes and pushing progression. Hitting certain achievement-point thresholds unlocks long-term features (One-Tap Star Upgrade, Auto-Battle, etc.) or grants abundant rewards (Summon Tickets). It is best to prioritize completing Lifetime Achievements. Aim to reach Lv.3 on Day 1 to unlock Auto-Battle.

⭐Goal 3: Complete all Day-1 Quests in Brave Journey
Brave Journey is the clearest roadmap for early-game goals. Finishing each day’s Brave Journey quests is the best yardstick for whether your progress is on track. Across the first two weeks (Day 1 included), try to complete all Brave Journey quests. Doing so keeps you among the top progress tiers on the server and builds a strong foundation for smoother mid- and late-game growth.
Completing the 7-day Brave Journey quests on the first week is also recommended. The difficulty curve is well paced and covers all key modes and features that unlock over the the first 7 days. Hitting these milestones gives clear direction and a real sense of achievement, while laying a solid foundation for your new account’s progression and a smoother experience going forward.
Brave Journey rewards are also very generous. You can upgrade the Epic Luminary “Forest Lord” Oberonnie into the SSR Luminary Midsummer Night’s Dreamer – Oberonnie. This strong frontline Guardian that reliably carries the early-mid game. Later rewards include Legendary Treasure componets that provide a clear stat boost, which is worth completing for every new player.

For players who plan to dive in and play seriously, this wraps up our Day-1 roadmap. Hope it gives you a head start and a smooth, content-rich experience from Day 1.
Class Resonance System Overview
The game has six classes: Warrior, Assassin, Mage, Archer, Guardian, and Priest. Each class has multiple Luminaries to develop. To ease the grind, there’s a Class Resonance system that significantly reduces the cost of developing Luminaries, making it easier to tackle all kinds of stages. Below is a quick overview of how Class Resonance works.
▌ 1. What is Class Resonance?✨
Put simply, once any Luminary in a given class completes Class Resonance, you can choose to sync the levels of other Luminaries in that class to the same level with no resource cost.
▌ 2. How do you unlock Class Resonance?✨
Class Resonance unlocks when any Luminary in a class reaches Lv.100. Spend the required materials to complete Class Resonance for that class.

▌ 3. What limits raising Class Resonance Levels?✨
A class’s Resonance Level is gated by the highest Star Level among its Luminaries. You need to pick at least one Luminary in each class and upgrade its Star Level to a higher tier to unlock a higher Resonance cap for that class.
Class Resonance Levels are mutually constrained across classes. Allocate your development resources broadly across all six classes, you can’t upgrade only one class’s Resonance Level.

That wraps up the overview of Class Resonance. Hope it helps!
Beginner Luminary Recommendations & Launch Team Setup Guide
Here are some free Luminary recommendations and team setup tips to help you get started!
Top Beginner Luminaries
As you progress, you’ll find that the free Luminaries are surprisingly effective. They cover all classes, allowing you to form a well-balanced team.
Below is an overview of several free Luminaries, along with recommendations on whether they’re worth developing.
▶ Oberonnie (Guardian)

How to Obtain: 7-Day Launch Event “Brave Journey” Reward
In this game, the Guardian (Tank) role is absolutely essential. Tanks don’t just soak up damage, they also protect your backline from enemy assassins.
The free Oberonnie is definitely one of the Luminaries worth developing.
Besides, if you care about aesthetics, she’s one of the few female tanks in the game (other than the Mythical Athena), one more reason to level her up!
For those building an Elemental Echo team early on, Oberonnie is a core member you can’t skip. She can be raised to 7-Star through the 7-Day event, so you don’t need to worry about pulls or promotion materials.
From the very first day of testing to the end, Oberonnie proved to be a solid and reliable tank throughout the journey.
▶ Siegfried(Warrior)

How to Obtain: Unlocked gradually through the Main Story
As one of the game’s main characters (with a princess backstory), Siegfried is a “SSR+” Warrior Luminary obtained through story progression.
She’s a practical and reliable Warrior, though in the early stages she’ll only be available at SR tier.
If you have a stronger Warrior early in the game, feel free to use that as a temporary replacement. Once Siegfried reaches SSR+, you can reset and reinvest your resources to focus on her development.
▶ Melina(Mage)

How to Obtain: From the Beginner’s 20x Summon
Melina is the guaranteed Luminary from every new player’s first 20 summons.
In past test data, she ranked among the most frequently used characters, proving her value among the free Luminaries.
However, whether she’s worth developing depends on whether you have strong Mages available.
Unlike Siegfried or Oberonnie, Melina can’t be advanced to 7-Star or “SSR+”, so she’s best replaced if you obtain a better Mage.
But still, as an early-game Mage, she’s a solid transitional choice for the start of your adventure.
▶ White Tiger(Assassin)

How to Obtain: Launch Event (Available on Day 3)
White Tiger is a “SSR+” Assassin that can be obtained for free through the launch event.
Assassins specialize in fast repositioning and taking down enemy backlines.
Although White Tiger initially lacks Faction bonuses (since her team requires Wyrm Soul Shards to form), she becomes far more effective in the mid-game.
Even without Faction synergy, her SSR+ rarity alone makes her worth investing in. For free-to-play players, she’s a solid long-term Assassin to develop as part of your main team.
▶ Siren(Priest)

Priests are the backbone of any team’s sustain, and a strong Priest can greatly enhance your entire squad’s survivability.
If you manage to raise Siren to 7-Star, she can further enhance your Priest Class Level through Class Resonance later on.
Though she’s only an SR tier Luminary, she definitely earns a 3.5-star rating.
Of course, players can always choose another Priest Luminary that better fits their preferred team composition or playstyle.
▌ Launch Team Composition Tips✨
At launch, it’s best to prioritize building teams around the Elemental Echo and Arcane Wisdom factions.
Below are some recommended team setups for each faction:
▶ Elemental Echo Team
Your starter Fire Whelp belongs to the Elemental Echo faction.
Best for: Free-to-play and low-spending players
Why it’s recommended:
Simple team setup that’s easy to build and optimize.
You can focus on your Dragon Soul resources on the Fire Whelp to strengthen the entire formation.
The free Luminaries are already enough to form a solid team. Summoning Flamefiend (Ifrit) from the limited pool will perfectly round it out.
The Priest Siren also fits neatly into this lineup, filing the healing role that Elemental Echo lacks. If you like this formation, you can confidently build your main team around it.
▶ Arcane Wisdom
Since Dragon Souls can only be obtained through Guild exchanges or Guild events, the Elemental Echo team will naturally form faster at launch.
However, the Butterfly Whelp Shard in the Beginner Bundle allows players to unlock the Arcane Wisdom team right away.
Best for: Players with some spending willingness
Recommended Setup:
Summoning Six-Armed Serpent (Marylis) and Flamefiend (Ifrit) from the limited pool is enough to form a well-rounded Arcane Wisdom lineup.
The strength of this faction lies in its core units coming from the rare pool, making it less affected by bad luck or off-banner pulls.
With a clear and focused development path, the Arcane Wisdom team is an excellent choice for mid-spending players looking to invest efficiently.
▶ Shared Luminaries for Both Teams
· If you buy Fenrir, she can take the Assassin slot in either team. Fenrir performs exceptionally well in both Elemental Echo and Arcane Wisdom teams.
· Siren can also be the healer for both teams. However, note that her second Faction attribute only unlocks after reaching 6-Star!
▌ Final Tips✨
You can always reallocate your Luminary resources through the Reset system, allowing you to adjust your formation freely as you progress. The Class Resonance system also lets Luminaries of the same class share levels, so you don’t have to worry about over-investing.
And finally, good luck pushing through the stages on launch day!
Top Wishlist Recommendations for the First Week Summons
In Dragon Traveler, setting up your wishlist is really important for new players.
Especially in the early game, choosing the right Luminaries can greatly reduce the cost of developing your main team.
Here are some handy tips for choosing your wishlist picks:
▌SSR+ Wishlist Recommendations✨

▶ Why We Recommend Them:
1️⃣ Wishing Genie – Scheherazade: Among all the SSR+ Luminaries, she provides the strongest support—she’s an easy pick for your wishlist. That said, she has a fairly high acquisition threshold, so before you get her, you may want to choose other Luminaries you have your eye on.
2️⃣ Twin Ravens – Huginn & Muninn: A powerful late-game Luminary that gradually gains star levels through your wishlist. Once they reach Purple 3-Star tier, they can be deployed to deliver a massive boost to your team’s overall damage.
3️⃣ Judge of the Underworld – Anubis: His powerful survivability and ability to grant shields and damage reduction effects to allies make him a great pick. While not particularly impactful in the early game, once you’ve gathered several Otherworld Luminaries, she really begins to shine.
4️⃣ Demilich – Gullveig: A utility-oriented Luminary who can reduce enemy healing, synergize with elemental teams to trigger reactions, and also has a degree of self-buffing ability.
▌SSR Wishlist Recommendations✨

▶Why We Recommend Them:
If you want to raise a Luminary’s star level, it requires not only the Luminary itself, but also a certain number of Luminaries of the same class (referred to as “fodder”).
Fodder units also need to reach 5-Star or 6-Star rank before they can be used.
Therefore, our wishlist Luminaries should have the same class as the Luminaries with an increased chance to be pulled in the limited-time summon banner.
The first banner features Six-Armed Serpent and Infernal Behemoth, so prioritizing corresponding Luminaries—Warrior and Archer Luminaries—is a strong choice for your wishlist.
By setting your wishlist up this way, whenever you pull a SSR Luminary from the normal banner, there’s an 80% chance that Luminary will be usable as fodder for upgrading Six-Armed Serpent – Marylis and Infernal Behemoth – Ifrit.
By following these suggestions, you can make a more effective wishlist and have a smoother gameplay experience.
Though naturally, you may need to tweak your wishlist depending on your personal situation and summon results.
We hope you found this information useful!

Mythos Conquest Guide & Formation Recommendations – Treasure Heist

Hey everyone! We’re back with another guide in the “Mythos Conquest” dungeon series. Simply put, Mythos Conquest serves as the game’s main resource dungeon, where you can obtain key materials for Luminary development. This time, we’ll be looking at Treasure Heist, the Gold dungeon.
In Treasure Heist, only melee Luminaries (Guardians, Assassins, and Warriors) can be deployed. At Difficulty 1, you can only deploy two Luminaries. Additional slots will unlock as you progress, going up to a maximum of 6 slots.
The victory condition is to defeat the Dwarf King within a time limit, so your team must have strong damage output, ideally those with AoE (area-of-effect) skills.
To sum up, in the early stages, prioritize Warriors and Assassins as your main DPS roles, while Guardians serve better as support or filler units in mid-to-high-difficulty stages.
Difficulties 1–4: Deploy any 2–3 of the following Luminaries

Difficulties 5–7: Deploy any 4–5 of the following Luminaries

Difficulty 8 and above: Deploy 6 Luminaries

Alternative Luminaries

Here’s a brief overview of the Treasure Heist gameplay.

Let’s start with the dungeon rewards:
– First Clear Reward: Diamonds
– Regular Rewards: Gold (the higher the difficulty, the more you earn)
– Milestone Rewards: Diamonds and Gold (claimable after completing a set number of runs)

1. Treasure Heist offers 20 difficulty levels. You can only challenge them sequentially. Once you win, the next level becomes available until you reach the greatest unlocked difficulty.
2. After clearing a difficulty for the first time, the “Sweep” feature unlocks, allowing you to quickly claim its rewards. (Tip: Before sweeping, check your Main Story progress. If advancing the story can unlock a higher dungeon difficulty, make sure to clear that first to avoid wasting resources.)
3. The base “Sweep” count starts at 1 per day. Purchasing the Adventurer Privilege Card grants +1 daily attempt.
That wraps up the Treasure Heist guide! Hope this helps, and stay tuned for upcoming guides on other Mythos Conquest dungeons!
Mythos Conquest Guide & Formation Recommendations – Forest Defense

Hey everyone! Today’s guide covers the “Mythos Conquest” dungeon series. In short, Mythos Conquest is the game’s main resource dungeon, where you can obtain essential materials for Luminary development. This time, we’ll be looking at Forest Defense, the EXP dungeon.
In Forest Defense, only ranged Luminaries (Archers, Mages, and Priests) can be deployed. At Difficulty 1, you can only deploy two Luminaries. Additional slots will unlock as you progress, going up to a maximum of 6 slots.
The victory condition is to hold off waves of Goblin attackers within a time limit, so you’ll need Luminaries with high damage output, ideally those with AoE (area-of-effect) skills.
Overall, in the early stages, focus on Mages and Archers as your main DPS units. Since Priests rarely have offensive skills, they’re better suited as support picks for mid- to high-difficulty stages. Below are the recommended Luminaries for this dungeon.
Difficulties 1–4: Deploy any 2–3 of the following Luminaries

Difficulties 5–7: Deploy any 4–5 of the following Luminaries

Difficulty 8 and above: Deploy 6 Luminaries

Alternative Luminaries

Here’s a brief overview of the Forest Defense gameplay.

Let’s start with the dungeon rewards:
– First Clear Reward: Diamonds
– Regular Rewards: Luminary EXP (the higher the difficulty, the more you earn)
– Milestone Rewards: Diamonds and Luminary EXP (claimable after completing a set number of runs)

1. Forest Defense offers 20 difficulty levels.
That wraps up the Forest Defense guide! Hope this helps, and stay tuned for upcoming guides on other Mythos Conquest dungeons!
