Game Guide: Warpath

Written in 2023, some tips may be outdated.

Another easy offer on Swagbucks. Last week, Adgate was doing a 2x points special, and they had Warpath up for 1,920 SB. I had been eyeing this game on Revenue Universe and Swagbucks but those two both had low values.

Swagbucks

Introduction

The game only recently came out, so there really weren’t any guides available. Thankfully, the learning curve was low. The offer requires you to reach Base Level 17 within 21 days.

I finished the offer in 5 days. I bought the starter offer for a dollar, which gives you an extra hero. There is a second offer for an extra hero, which goes up in price and value the higher your level. It was 0.99, then 4.99, and 19.99 eventually.

Your base buildings cannot exceed your player level. And you earn the player experience points exclusively from leveling up your buildings. So, to build the level 17 base you need to construct and level up all of the various facilities, except for maybe the airfield.

Overview

The game uses 3 resources: Cash, Steel, and Oil which can be harvested on the map. Unlike other games of the genre, you don’t have a city view separate from the map. Your base is managed directly from the world map.

Upgrade Command Center

Beyond the 3 main resources, you also have Construction materials like Wood Planks, Bricks, Cement, I-beams, and Concrete. These materials are used in conjunction with the resources to build out your base. You’ll spend most of your time in Gold Rushing Production to move things along.

Since the game is new, I received many player surveys, rewarding me with Gold for suggesting improvements to the game. I spent the bulk of my Gold buying VIP points to improve my economy. Most important was acquiring Energy replenishment items and speeding up the natural regeneration timers.

Tips

When defeating enemies (PvE), they drop building materials, but you need 10 Energy to pick up stuff; 30 Energy if it is a Bunker drop. Without Energy items, you are stuck picking up 10 items a day.

A big source of extra Gold is Plunder, which you will find spread across the world map. When you send out your Scout planes they will notify you of any Warehouses, Boats, or Crashed Planes which contain items you can retrieve without spending Energy. You will often receive Maps that can reveal large blocks of the map and further items and Plunder.

Strategy

You start with a single troop of soldiers and can expand your base to include 5 companies. You get an assortment of Infantry, Tanks, and Artillery units. Duplicate units can be combined (Assembly) at the Research Station to get upgraded units. You can also break down (Disassemble) Items you don’t want at the Production Facility.

Artillery takes out either Tanks, Towns, or Infantry, depending on specialty. You can change the Parts on the unit to alter what it is good at fighting. The same is true of the other units like, Tanks and Infantry. One of the Heroes you get early in the game has Grenades, which really make a difference against Tanks. Coupling her with the Field Medic hero makes for a strong company. Infantry can enter a defensive mode (Activate Bunker), which improves Durability, adds healing, and makes them really tough to kill.

There are 4 Tank types: Light, Medium, Heavy, and Super Heavy. I also saw the NPC enemies had “Tank Killers,” but I didn’t see those available except for Unit Parts, which altered the Damage Focus to Tanks.

Miscellaneous

The hero screen said Coming Soon on the Air Hero page, so you may see Aircraft combat at some point. Probably not important if you’re just doing the offer.

Completing base upgrades is instantaneous, so I don’t think joining an Alliance is really necessary. Certainly, in many other games, it makes a world of difference. Alliances in Warpath are entirely combat-centric. You can build a base and capture territory using Turrets located in Villages. The team works towards capturing and holding various Raven (NPC) bases, Train Stations, and Supply Posts. Each building type gives a Combat bonus to the holding team.

The first alliance I joined was destroyed by another alliance overnight. I logged in and everything was gone and I was prompted to relocate my base. In the second alliance, the leader stopped playing without setting any Officers, and there was no way of Usurping command. A common feature in casual smartphone games.

My third Alliance worked out, and we wiped out two other alliances and killed a mountain of independent players. You don’t lose any resources when your base is destroyed. But all Timers are stopped, so no resource collection, materials production, or research.

Completing the Daily Missions will get you tickets to redeem for extra units using the Chests option. I’d suggest saving up 10 tickets before using them. You can also get new units from the Airdrop function at your Base, in addition to the resources.

Final Word

I think this offer, with its current terms, could be finished in 3-4 days. That’s as long as they don’t alter the building material or resource requirements.

Game of Kings: The Blood Throne

Another successfully completed offer on Swagbucks. This one was through Revenue Universe on a double-point special and rewarded 1,952 SB. A 30-day time limit, requiring you to reach level 21 Stronghold. I spent $1.56 on a Vanilla GC and $8.44 on Google Play Credit.

Offer Page

There is a guide on Reddit for this game but I found some of the information to be outdated including the promo code “FROMZEROTOHERO” which is no longer applicable. Additionally, there have been significant increases in resource requirements to reach level 21.

I had a rough time with this one. There are scant few websites with information or guides to this game. Mostly Google searches would say “Did you mean Game of Thrones?”. There is a Fandom wikia page for the game but it looks half built and the icons are all swapped around.

Game of Kings (GOK) is an upright/vertical castle simulation smartphone game available on both iOS and Android. Similar to other games of this type you have both a Citywide and world map (kingdom) viewpoint.

The tutorial is short and ends at Stronghold level 5. After that your beginner peace shield drops and you can be attacked by other players. The shields are especially important in GOK. Not only can your excess resources be stolen but your Hero can be captured, potentially setting you back a great deal of time.

GOK is a more combat oriented castle sim compared to others like Mafia Wars, Avalon, Rise of Kingdoms or Pirates of the Caribbean. In GOK there are no Forts or Tower’s to provide territory to your Alliance. The only protection available is from the shields which are available in 8hr, 24hr, 3day and 30day versions.

At stronghold level 15 you can build a Prison and capture enemy heroes. Once you build the Altar you can execute heroes to get a big boost. You will commonly see high level players teleporting around and attacking people without shields. During the weekly “Killing” event they become especially active.

In GOK you only have one hero who represents your player level to some degree. You get 5 Citywide Stat points and 1 Hero skill point at each level up. The citywide skills affect things like resource collecting speeds or research timers. Hero skill points give boosts to your hero and allow you to Hunt higher-level Monsters.

Your hero is primarily used to hunt monsters in GOK. It is possible to use the hero to lead resource-gathering marches but this is strongly advised against. If your match is attacked you can lose your hero.

If your hero is captured they will be stuck in prison for 4 days unless they are executed or you pay $20/$100 to “poison” them. If killed you can either spend 6k Gold to resurrect the hero or get a new level 1 hero and start over.

Beyond a hero’s skill points, you can craft gear to gain various bonuses. Some gear is better suited to Army combat while other gear focuses on buffing the hero’s fighting ability when attacking monsters. Other gear gives bonuses to Construction speed, resource production efficiency, and research timers.

Each time you upgrade your Stronghold you will receive a chest with beneficial items inside. Hero gear is included with these chests if you decide not to craft gear. I do want to mention that I did not see any additional discount on building timers when equipping Construction time reduction gear. Some items listed -20mins and -90mins timer reductions but I checked the timers with the gear on/off and there was no difference. The only reductions on timers I can confirm are the % %-based time discounts and the VIP level discounts.

It took me 14 days to complete the offer but in that time I never received enough VIP point items to gain a VIP level. I purchased the $4.99 starter pack which brought my hero to level 31, VIP-7, and gave me lots of crafting chests, speedups and resources. Later on, a similar pack showed up for the same price.

Alliances in GOK can be up to 100 members. Joining a large mostly active alliance is very beneficial. The assistance on timers from guild mates is useful. There are daily and weekly events for Alliances that give many boosts that will help along the way. The main benefit is the Alliance Gifts. Killing monsters will earn a chest for all Alliance members which contains a random item. Sometimes this can be resources, speedups, or even Gold.

Since I was only interested in completing the offer I crafted gear to reduce construction time and boost resource production. Having a big Farm production will allow you to maintain a big army to harvest resources. I had 120k tier 1 swordsmen who were able to harvest 1 million resources each hour.

Avoid building other troops as they are less efficient at harvesting and cost more. On your skills make sure to get Construction 1+2, Gathering 1+2, and Research 1+2. Later once you have finished the cheap research you can use a skill reset item and put points into Stone and Wood production and not bother with the research.

The timers in GOK are especially long and fairly early in the game. On the first day, I saw some research that required 5 days to complete. You will need to collect many speedup items to get this done in time.

On the world map, you will see farms, quarries, smelters, and lumber mills. There are also Spoils locations where you can harvest Gems, crafting Materials, and Gold. At the edges of the map, all the sites are level 1. They increase in level up to 6 near the center of the map.

The weekly Loki event requires that you teleport your city next to one of the lava zones near the center. You can attack the monster Loki to get Mental Shards which can be exchanged at the Black Market in town for items. The Loki event first tier may be achievable if you get in a good spot and have patience. I got up to 70/180 attacks before I gave up. I had enough time left to finish it but I was super bored.

You want to be right next to Loki but on the grass. If your march touches the forest you get slowed down. From my first location, it took 4 minutes to attack, after moving I got it down to 1:23mins. Even if you are far to the side, as long as you are on the grass, it will be faster to travel.

You can time the building event and the Endless event together to maximize your rewards. There is also a Stronghold upgrade event that you can finish regularly. The stronghold event will give you speedups until level 15, then you get resources only.

The game does not have a search function for monsters or resource sites so you will need to scroll around the map to find stuff. You can use coordinates to bookmark things and share locations in the chat window.

The game features a Coffer where you can deposit 100 Gold and get interest on it after 2 hours. Upgrading the Coffer requires you to make purchases in the store.

The building resource requirements and the building timers have been extended. This makes completing the offer quite difficult. In the Reddit guide the final upgrade is listed as 150 days, this has gone up to 177 days plus more resources are needed.

I do not think I would have been able to finish the game without buying another $4.99 pack. I could not harvest enough resources to meet the requirements to upgrade the Stronghold. I did get some resources from my Alliance members but even with that, I faced a great deal of difficulty.

After I completed the offer, I sent out marches to all my alliance members returning excess resources from the pack I bought. I got 1,952 Swagbucks for completing this offer from Revenue Universe. I have a lifetime earnings of 416,467 SB.

You check out my site page for more games and offer guides to Swagbucks.

Swagbucks: Kingdoms of HeckFire

Kingdoms of Heckfire is being offered on Swagbucks for a 4,000 SB reward. The offer was in my Inbox but I also see it in the Search option. Offer terms are to reach Castle level 15, with no time limit listed on the offer.

The game includes 3 Resource types: Gold, Food, and Ore. Gems are a Premium currency for Shop transactions and speeding through timers.

There are ample resources available up through Castle Level 10 from the starting missions and Daily events.

The game also gives you lots of Gems, so you won’t necessarily need to go out and Gather resources from the nodes on the map.

The main issue I found with completing this offer is that they don’t give you a free Extra builder like in other games of the genre. You could buy one in the shop for $10, but that seems expensive to me.

You can research “Free Speedup” timer increases and “Help” timer benefits from Clan mates to speed up the constructions. I think I was getting 2.1 minutes off per help received and my Embassy allowed 14 hits, so I was getting close to a half-hour off.

Most of the low-level buildings and research only needed 20 minutes so that was fine.

The game utilizes 3 Biomes (Grasslands, Badlands, and Swamp) that include a specific monster and generic resource Nodes. You will have multiple Dragons that each specialize in a different form of combat and specific Biomes.

In order to Gather resources from Nodes higher than level 1 you will need to do Research. The same applies to attacking Goblins, Skeletons, Treants, and Titans.

The game includes an Ally Hiring system that can be used to buff your combat abilities in certain Biomes. You can earn Gold by hiring an ally and then reselling them at a small profit.

This is all done automatically, so it is hands-free for the most part, you just need to do the initial hiring. A downside to this though is that when an ally is hired away you lose the bonus you were getting.

Ideally, you hire an active player who powers up to the point where no one can afford to buy them off of you. You will then get the full stat boost without fear of loss.

You can always Drop an ally to get back a fraction of your payment price if you really need the Gold.

The Castle construction time started to get fairly long at level 13. The time to upgrade extended to over 1 day, the prerequisite buildings also took 9+ hours and I had to do them 1 at a time without a 2nd builder slot.

The Starter Shield on the town lasts for a week and stays up even after upgrading past level 10, unlike other games like this.

I played the game during a Halloween event and so got many freebies and themed gifts. Perhaps they will have an event going on when you play.

I didn’t see anywhere to enter Codes in the settings and there didn’t seem to be any giveaways on their Facebook (Meta) page.

There were some frequent bugs and I did get consolation mail in the game with free Gems more than once.

I have written new user guides for Swagbucks and MyPoints; either one is a great option. These sites are a great source of extra income for spontaneous purchases. Alternatively there is FreeCash and InboxDollars, both also good services.

Game Guide: Game of Khans

Game of Khans follows the same format as Kings Throne: Game of Lust, with a top-down viewpoint, and all of the GUI elements are roughly in the same place.

The same concepts of being Lord/King/Chief and collecting Wives/Concubines whose increasing Intimacy scores lead to more alluring displays.

Main screen

You’ve got 3 resources: Silver, Food, Soldiers, and your premium currency, Diamonds.

Silver gets used to level up your Advisors, Food is used to level up your villages on the World Map, and lastly, Soldiers get used to challenge the Campaign, which takes place on World Travel, and proceed through missions.

Completing missions also earns you Hay, which is used to visit by caravan the various Cultural centers on the map.

Guide

Harem: You will get your first wife by choosing at the start between 2 women. The other one will be rescued and later join the Harem as well.

Additional lovers are added at set Power levels, by visiting cultural centers on World Travel, and by increasing your VIP rank through in-game Purchases.

When visiting towns, there is a chance of an Encounter in which you will get to choose which of the available women you want to increase Favor with.

Once you have reached a threshold for the particular girl, they will marry you and join the Harem.

Courtyard: Unlike others of the genre in Game of Khans, your Harem members have missions of their own to complete, and they will earn experience points and increase in level over time.

Each maiden has her own specialty that gives them an edge in completing Courtyard quests.

Also at the Courtyard, there are Mini-Fights between the Harem members, which give you a chance to improve your favor with them depending on your decisions.

Advisors: These are acquired at the Proving Grounds, and they act as your General/Knight when taking part in PvP, PvE, and Hunting Events.

You will get 1 free summon each day and can collect tokens to do bulk summons.

There are different tiers of Advisors, which can have much better stats the higher the quality. The first Gold Advisor you get will be Khuba.

When you get a duplicate draw on the summon, you will then get tokens that can be used to increase the Star level of the corresponding Advisor.

Alternatively, you can swap the tokens for a generic token that can be used on a higher-tier Advisor.

Heirs: After visiting your Harem, there is a chance of an Heir being born.

You can interact with your children and give them things like milk, toys, or a bath. You can determine which option they want by their speech bubble content.

When they have fully grown up, you can arrange marriages for them with your Friends, Horde, or broadcast on the server chat.

Another option is to allow them to seek their own spouse. This option is nice if you are a more casual player. Couples will sometimes give you a gift.

Throne: Here you can handle Decrees. Warriors, Villagers, and Chiefs. You will be given a dilemma and be tasked with solving the issue without overly favoring one party.

The best reward comes from equally appealing to each group through multiple questions.

Feast: The Feast option is standard among games of this type. You will be able to invite other players to your feast and get points for being the host.

Otherwise, you will join other players ‘ feasts and get a smaller return. The feast store has many good discounted rewards to choose from.

Marriage items are easily acquired here.

Outskirts: At the Outskirts, you can explore set locations for Wild Animals to capture.

These will be added to your Pet Pen. Sometimes you will get food to feed to the Pets to level them up.

At certain periods of the day, there will be rare animals available, so it is best to save your explorer points for these times.

Arena: In the Arena, you can set your Advisors to challenge other players in PvP combat.

Potions can be brewed to provide buffs to your Advisors for the battles. The potions can be upgraded as well and will be available for use for the Season.

The higher you rank, the better the rewards.

Shaman Cave: Each day you log in, you will get a reward from the Shaman Cave.

At 7 days, you get a big chest of rewards.

The daily rewards are random and taken from a list of items shown at the bottom of the screen, and it does include Diamonds as a possible reward.

Hunting Grounds: During set times each day, you can take part in the Hunt. A mini-game where you try to shoot a fleeing game animal like a boar.

Accuracy will help you do more damage. Aiming for the head, you can get a critical hit. Your Advisors will take turns shooting.

If you fail to kill an animal on the first hit, the game will speed up, making it a bit more difficult to complete.

Beast Challenge: At set times of the day, you can take part in the Beast Challenge and attack the monster.

This is a server-wide event, and you will compete with others to get the final blow and also to do the most damage.

Getting the killing blow will earn you tokens to summon a powerful Advisor.

Pet Pen: Your animals that were captured in the Outskirts are available here as Pets.

You can feed them to increase their levels. Additional pets can be set to Alpha/Beta to improve the effectiveness of the bonuses.

Each pet represents a Totem, which can be placed at the Village to get a major boost to production.

Hunting

Horde: As with other games, you can join or create a Guild/Alliance to play with others.

This helps with ranking in the Events as long as your members are active. There are group missions that can be completed together and mini activities.

The Horde Store will be an extra supply of Resources such as Silver and Soldiers, and the available amount increases as the Horde ranks up.

Barracks: The main way to get your Advisor‘s skill ranked up is to send them to the Barracks.

You can set an Advisor to train for 3 hours. Diamonds can be paid to increase the number of available training slots at the Barracks.

Sometimes you will get lucky and get a Triple point reward when completing the training for a particular Advisor.

World Travel: The Hay you earn on the Campaign map gets used to take part in World Travel.

You go around to random towns on the map, which are cultural centers. Various events will occur, and occasionally you may get a chance to impress a maiden.

You may save them from a bandit or offer flowers to the girl you like. Filling their gauges will earn you that girl, and she will marry you and join the Harem.

An enjoyable play experience if you have the time. I greatly suggest it.
