We’re having Mapo Tofu for dinner tonight.
Also, have spring rolls.

Well, I decided to go ahead and build a fire in the firebox to harden up the clay.
Unfortunately, there are just too many impurities in the clay. I still need to process it quite a bit more before it will not break as it dries.

I also need to find some sort of fiber that I can mix into the clay to strengthen it so that it won’t break when it dries.
The part that broke is the cross beam that holds up the base layer to the kiln above the firebox. It is an elongated section of clay and so tends to break as I shape it.

My site pages don’t seem to be visible from browsers, and so my last few updates haven’t been seen.
I am working on a new backyard project.
I’m building a small Kiln in the backyard that I will be using to fire some clay tiles to place in the ditch at the front of the house.
I’ve been chronicling this as a photo gallery on my site page however, the site page is not currently visible from the WordPress website for some reason.

A balanced meal is important when I’m working. I need to have the energy to keep going throughout the day.
I also want to make sure that I’m not overeating or eating foods that might be bad for my health.
I have two servings of fruit: Apricots, Prunes, Figs, and Cherries.

One serving of cashews and one serving of some whole wheat crackers with every meal, when I’m at lunch at work.
I drink half a can of a Diet soft drink, or I have a cup of tea when available.
The photos are pretty self-explanatory; we are having tacos for dinner.

Ah, my family was absolutely devastated by the news that Dramafever has been shut down.

We have been watching Asian dramas since 2009, and much of that time as a subscriber to the service.
Thankfully, access to such programs has improved greatly, and now there are many more options available for us at this point.
After some searching and some light debate, we have decided to try Viki.
I have had a free account with them for some time, so upgrading to a paid plan was simple. We chose the annual plus plan, as I see that Kocowa is also available through their service.
Kocowa is the streaming service offered by the big broadcasters in Korea, and they have many popular series available.
Quite a bit has happened today, as our new TV also showed up at the door a day early.

About a month before I started this blog, I had lost my Fitbit.
After returning from a good workout, I synced the tracker and showered.
Feeling refreshed, I spaced out the Fitbit and didn’t think about it till the next day, when I was unable to find it.
Well, it finally showed up while cleaning the house today. It had slipped down really far into one of the couch cushions.
I am quite happy to be back on the road earning points toward deals. My employer rewards us for staying fit and maintaining our health.
I also get a lowered insurance premium based on my health profile through a company-sponsored app.
Dinner consisted of Gyros and tabouli, and my mother made some nice naan to go with it.

The wind has shifted, and the trees are bending in the opposite direction.
At work, we have lost power eight times today. That’s the register and all the computers rebooting eight times…
I even saw a gust of wind forcefully knock a customer back into the store as she was leaving.
Well, hurricane “Michael” is here, and everything is really wet.
I regret not taking care of the outside trash can before the rains started. Despite the weather, we still have many customers coming in.
It’s also truck day, so there is much work to do. You probably don’t need pictures of puddles, so I will skip the photography today.
