A somewhat heavy meal for today’s lunch. We are having macaroni and cheese with stir-fried veggies.
On the side, we have some preserved perilla and daikon kimchi, kebab, and Chuck beef cubes.

I was up late watching dramas, so I ended up waking up around noon today.
My first meal of the day is cheesy burritos with rice, a pickled hot pepper, and fermented tofu paste.

I just got a shiny Pinsir yesterday and now a shiny Grimer. The shinies keep showing up. My luck must be at a peak.

We have a team dinner today at work. My manager has cooked many local dishes for the meal.
We have coleslaw, pulled pork in both vinegar and ketchup varieties.
Potato salad and a chowder made with corn, green beans, Lima beans, and pork. Chocolate chip cookies for dessert.

Well, I took a short walk after work around the parking lot this evening.
My 6th Pinsir I tapped on ended up being shiny.
I must say I am quite pleased to have received a shiny Pinsir, as it is my favorite Bug Pokémon.

We’re having a barbecue for dinner tonight.
We have chicken (닭) and pork (돼지 고기), lettuce (상추) for wraps (쌈).
Some green peppers (피망), dipping sauces, marinade, and my mother’s kimchi (김치).

I continue to have difficulty working with the clay. I don’t seem to be able to fire the clay hot enough in order to get it to become hard.
There do seem to be quite a few impurities in the clay I have. Perhaps I’ve not processed it enough to get it to fire properly.
I will need to do further research.

Every year, we have a Harry Potter movie marathon and feast leading up to Halloween on October 31st.
This year, we had broccoli in a lemon butter sauce, candied carrots, cauldron cakes, coconut treats, toffee, a platter of fried chicken legs; some were dipped in a spicy Korean sauce, others were sourdough breaded, and some were baked.
Drinks included Butterbeer, rum, and apple cider. For dessert, we ate Jell-O and chocolate pudding, topped with fresh sliced strawberries. Caramel popcorn balls and toasted pumpkin seeds were my favorite.

Earlier this year, I signed up for a Starbucks account so that I could play the Summer Game Boardwalk.
I ended up getting 100 Stars, which is 25 shy of a free item. I have been waiting for another deal so that I could get a free item without having to load any money into the account.
Free stuff is fun, and free Starbucks is even better.
Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be working out, as all the deals I’ve seen lately have required spending some cash.

There are 2 offers that I have decided to take up to get those Stars I need for free rewards.
Currently, there is a promotion to earn up to 475 Stars from reloading your account with Chase Pay for 20 bucks on 3 occasions.
I only need to do this twice for my plan to hit 375 Stars. The next part of the plan is to sign up for the Starbucks Prepaid Visa card by Chase, which has a welcome bonus of 125 Stars when you load $10 onto the card.
The card has a minimum load requirement of $25, which is annoying.
Anyways, this will bring me to 500 Stars, which is 4 free items. I’ll then also have 65 dollars leftover on my account to spend at Starbucks.
The $65 left on the account will be used to buy 4 bags of Whole Bean Coffee ($12.95) and 1 box of VIA Instant coffee packets ($9.95).
These can either be gifted to family, consumed at home, or flipped on eBay, depending on my needs.
CVS recently started carrying Target GCs in the $25-500 denominations.
Remember, if you are in the miles and points game or just churning, there is a $2,000 daily limit for prepaid products at CVS.
