I’ve been a long-time reader of Milesperday and finally decided to try ticket reselling.
I bought 2 tickets for Ariana Grande’s Sweetener tour using my American Express Delta Skymiles Blue card on Ticketmaster and was able to flip them for about a $50 profit on StubHub.
Not much, but I was pleased, given I have only heard about ticket flipping from reading blogs.
I am doing more research now and looking at various venues with the hope of more adventures.
There wasn’t much milk left in the jug, and we had some pineapple that was getting old, and one thing led to another.
So here is some pineapple milk. It tastes sweet, but a little curdly…
We’re having neck-bone soup tonight, it is a Korean recipe my mother got from the Maangchi cookbook I bought for her birthday.
Last night, I encountered a surprise while taking the recycling bag outside.
I had just finished tying up the bag and then remembered something inside I forgot, so I went back inside. Maybe a minute later, I returned to find the recycling bag moving and growling.
Somehow, an opossum managed to slip inside the bag in just a moment. My mother and I tried to free it, but it made such a fuss that we gave up.
The tie has been cut, so the bag is open, but for some reason, it won’t get out.
I set some food out on the deck in the hopes that it will find that more intriguing than our recycling.
Mother made some mochi cakes for the end-of-year celebrations.
She got a nice star-pattern cookie cutter from Amazon, and it works well with the mochi.
A little late-night snack before bed. Curried chicken with spinach and homemade paneer.
So today I used one of my rewards at Starbucks.
I am having some difficulty with one of the star offers, so at some point, I’ve got to call Chase Pay for assistance.
I ordered the Serious Strawberry frappuccino. It tasted great and was a perfect reward for the day.
The Ice Shaver I ordered arrived the other day.
So we had all we needed to make the Patbingsu.
My mother made Mochi and toasted almond flour for toppings.
We also had grapes, pineapple, blueberries, jam, and condensed milk. The Pat was very sweet and sort of nutty.
I turned 33 on Monday this week. We had seafood 잡채, beef, and grilled pork 쌈. A nice red beer went with the meal.
My mother made Mandu (만두) and Moon cakes with red bean and coconut fillings. We will also have Patbingsu (팥빙수) later.
