Lore: Instead of respect, Chloe’s excellent performance incurred jealousy from other candidates. She was falsely accused of learning dark magic and therefore put in jail.
Her mind was clouded by anger and vengeance, exposing her to the Dark Pontiff’s manipulation. Emboldened by the flame of vengeance, Chloe gave up her faith in the light and embraced the power of dark magic, and eventually became a part of the darkness.
