Dinner tonight was Korean ginseng chicken soup.
We had sticky rice with jujubes, spicy fermented black beans, kimchi, chopped onions in a sweet soy sauce, and sesame seeds in a thick salty brine.

A quick lunch before work. We’re having dumplings.
Some have tofu inside, and others include mushrooms or kimchi.
We have a bean sprout side dish from a local Korean grocer.

Korean Spicy Beef Ramyun with kimchi.

Nothing fancy this morning. Actually, this is more along the lines of “soul food.”
Ramyun with Kimchi and an egg. Maybe not breakfast material though…

A somewhat heavy meal for today’s lunch. We are having macaroni and cheese with stir-fried veggies.
On the side, we have some preserved perilla and daikon kimchi, kebab, and Chuck beef cubes.

We’re having a barbecue for dinner tonight.
We have chicken (닭) and pork (돼지 고기), lettuce (상추) for wraps (쌈).
Some green peppers (피망), dipping sauces, marinade, and my mother’s kimchi (김치).
