During my visit to New York City and Brooklyn, I took a walk with my family at the beachfront of Jacob Riis Park. It was a foggy morning, and the surf was strong. Big ocean swells endlessly crash on the shoreline. It was quite refreshing.
My mother reminded me the previous day to pick up a knish for her. My host was able to find a familiar deli on Google Maps that sells the pastry.
The Mill Basin Deli. I purchased two knish’s a potato, and a pastrami.
We toured downtown Poughkeepsie and viewed the various shops up the hill on Main Street.
After some time, we decided on lunch at a Mexican restaurant.
I ordered the Chicken Tortilla Soup to start and 3 Fish Tacos.
