General Tips
- Never let waveplate storage cap out. Spend them early on upgrade materials for Rover or a limited 5-star character. Rover is worth the early investment because their level carries over across all forms and elements.
- Kill enemies on sight to upgrade the Data Bank. Higher Data Bank levels increase Echo drop rates until guaranteeing 5-star Gold Echoes at Level 21. Save Echo upgrade resources for Gold Echoes rather than wasting them on low-tier early drops.
- Pro Tip: When skipping dialogue during quests, press the Escape key instead of dragging the cursor to the top-right button to save noticeable time over long sessions.
- Spend the discounted 40 pulls for a guaranteed 5-star. Target Verina (best standard support) or Encore (solid early DPS). Avoid investing heavily in Calcharo as he has aged out of the current meta.
- Use Prydwen or community math resources to check weapon efficiency for specific rosters. Stringmaster is generally the best versatile choice if undecided.
Banners and pulls
Asterite is the principal currency used for account progression and pulling on gacha banners.
You’re gonna get these from all the normal activities like daily activity points (60/day), completing main and side quests, exploring regions, opening supply chests, participating in limited events, and clearing endgame modes like the Tower of Adversity or Weekly Elusive Realm, blah blah blah.
Converting Asterites into banner pulls costs 160 Asterites per pull.
It takes up to 80 pulls (12,800 Asterites) to hit a 5-star drop, and with the 50/50 system, a guaranteed limited character can cost over 25,000 Asterites. Ouch.
Carrying
Dumping your starter items heavily into a single high-damage character (like Phrolova) alongside any basic sub-DPS/healer in the early game will support you when clearing story missions.
Tower
The end game stuff can get pretty deep, and you’re gonna want to have like 3 full teams to handle Tower of Adversity.
If you can manage it, you want to have your 4-star girls with high Resonance Chains (like Sanhua or Mortefi) to work as cheap gap fillers for the 2nd and 3rd team. Drop your fighting best in the first slot and rock out.
