Guide to Building Priests’ Light or Blood

Starting as a Priest

Priest: Healer/Support. Channels divine power to buff allies and heal the wounded, ensuring the party’s survival.

I chose Priest because I prefer to play a Healer/Holy Warrior type in RPG settings. I very much enjoyed playing as a Paladin in Dungeons and Dragons Online for over a decade.

Had I read the class descriptions more closely, I would have seen that the Knight class has a Paladin path available. But I am happy with the Light Priest all the same.

Starting around level 20, I began to add Blood Priest skills to my hotbar to improve my combat ability. The Light Priest focuses on healing themselves and others, but they don’t have many offensive skills. Playing as a Blood Priest gives you some really nice attacks and debuff abilities.

A pure-play Blood Priest would be my preference now that I have experienced the game; unfortunately, a reset scroll is out of my budget.

Light Priest

Light Priest: Healer and Buffer, great for group play in parties and dungeons. Heal-Over-Time effects, clears debuffs from nearby allies, and group healing.
